Comment : Diaspore, also called Zultanite (when it presents a “color change” effect), is a rare stone, especially in this size and clarity. The size highlights it well. To observe the color changing effect, it is necessary to switch from daylight to an incandescent bulb (with filament).

This is a very beautiful collector's item. It is also possible to have it fitted to a piece of jewelry but be careful, go through an experienced setter and avoid shocks when you wear the jewelry. Diaspore, although it has fairly good hardness, has poor impact resistance.
