Collection: Tanzanite

Tanzanite takes its name from Tanzania, a country where it was discovered relatively recently (1967). It is actually the blue to purple variety of zoisite. Despite its recent discovery, it quickly made a place for itself in the world of fine jewelry, thanks to the exceptional beauty of its blue hue with a touch of purple.

Its price increases with the intensity of the color and the more we go towards an intense color, the more small color variations can have a big impact.

Tanzanite is rare, it is only found in Tanzania. Which means that once these deposits are exhausted, we will no longer be able to obtain them.

It is important to note that all tanzanites undergo a heating process to achieve this captivating color. Before heating, tanzanites generally have a brown color that is not very aesthetic.
