Tourmaline presents a very wide range of colors. Each having its own name related to the color, their origin or their chemical composition which is not fixed for all tourmalines.

The most popular tourmalines are the red ones called Rubellites and the lagoon blue ones called Paraíba. These are very rare and command very high prices.

In addition to presenting a wide variety of colors, tourmaline has a hardness which easily allows it to be used in jewelry and to create unique jewelry.
