Diaspore, also known as Zultanite, is a gemstone valued for its ability to change color depending on light, offering hues from green to pink and peach. Not all diaspores have a so-called color change effect and obviously those that do have more value.

We also find pink diaspores which are very rare and highly sought after. The price, like everything that is rare and sought after, is higher. Pink diaspores do not often exhibit color changing effects.

Although the diaspore is often associated with Turkey which is the main producer, it can also be found in other regions such as Afghanistan (pink diaspore producer), Myanmar (Burma) much more sporadically.
