Treatment : Heated. Blue zircon does not exist in its natural state (or not yet discovered). Not all zircons turn blue after being heated.

Blue zircons are incredibly difficult to photograph. The blue is never really faithful and it is more beautiful in reality, more vibrant, without the slightly black areas that you can see in some photos.

In some photos, it looks like the photo is blurry but it is in fact the phenomenon of doubling, a natural characteristic of zircon. This effect is only visible at very high magnification and is not perceptible to the naked eye.
