Comment : Stone much more beautiful in real life. The photos do not reflect the fires which are very strong on this stone. The dispersion of sphalerite is greater than that of diamond.
Very clear color zoning gives a very aesthetic zebra appearance.
Due to its low hardness and perfect cleavage (very hard stone to cut and polish), sphalerite is almost exclusively a collector's gem.
If you really want to try the experience and make it into jewelry, you will need a very experienced setter. In addition, you can only use it for a pendant or earring. I do not recommend the ring, it will be damaged very quickly. Also avoid putting your jewelry loose in a jewelry box, otherwise, in the same way, you risk damaging it quickly, and you will be disappointed.
