Treatment : Kunzite is very often treated with irradiation. However, natural kunzite also exists. It is impossible to know if a stone has been irradiated, even in a laboratory. As a result, some sellers tend to take advantage of this to claim their kunzite is natural. They are often a very deep pink, a bit garish, but not necessarily.
From my experience, I think this one was irradiated. But I could be wrong!
Origin : Unknown but probably Afghanistan or Pakistan.
