Danburite is hard enough to be used in jewelry, especially pendants, earrings, and rings for occasional wear. However, it is particularly fragile to heat: it is said to be fusible , because it can melt or crack under the direct action of the torch flame during welding operations.

It is strongly recommended to entrust the crimping to an experienced professional, who will know how to use suitable techniques (cold crimping, remote soldering or on prefabricated crimping).

Comment : A beautiful, luminous piece. A must-have in a collection, it can also be used as a piece of jewelry.

Stone comes with an AIG lab certificate (not to be confused with the GIA, which is very reputable). This certificate was included with the stone when I purchased it. The AIG lab does not have as established a reputation as the GIA. I have, of course, checked this stone myself, like all the others.
