Stone control

Sébastien Passot is a graduate of the ING Lyon (National Institute of Gemmology), a renowned gemology school in France and Europe.

Each stone sold on this site is checked with classic gemological instruments (see the gemological tools for more information) to ensure that what you are buying is truly real. Ever since man began using precious stones, he has also created counterfeits. My role is to prevent you from coming across them.

As a seller, I am obliged to specify the treatments undergone by a stone (decree of January 14, 2002). See the page on treatments for further details.
The treatments, if any, are therefore clearly indicated without possible ambiguity in the description of each stone.

If there's any doubt about a possible treatment, the stone is considered treated. This can particularly happen when heating at low temperatures. And in this case, the price reflects this!

No synthetic stones are currently sold on this site. Should this change in the future, it will be clearly stated.
